Mr Legg

As an avid adventure seeker myself, I pursued a career in teaching to support children to become global citizens with a sense of adventure and desire for exploration. The digital age truly has made our world smaller, so I firmly believe in the adage of thinking globally and acting locally. This philosophy applies to both digital and real-world problems, as I believe the two are intrinsically linked. It is a great privilege to be able to share the classroom experiences of myself and my colleagues with you through this blog.

To align with the safety and personal safety protocols that we encourage our students to take when using the internet, there is no identifying information on this blog. In saying that, there is a direct contact link where you can contact myself on this blog and you are able to respond to and comment on the posts.

I am an enthusiastic educator of the primary years and love to including learning opportunities in everything I do. I would like all students to become educated safe users of the internet and to be encourage to explore and utilise all that is available to them at their fingertips.

Therefore I would love for you to get involved as well in this adventure that we as a school are embarking on to be safe users of the internet. Educating, scaffolding (guiding) and providing opportunities and feedback to interact with the wider community allows students to develop a sense of responsibility surrounds their interactions online. I endeavour to have all students be safe and confident users of the internet and hope that you can also be a role model in the safe use of the internet.

Mr Nicholls

Becoming an educator was my only career goal as a young child, and as the years have passed I still have the same passion for teaching, helping to support students to become confident and inquisitive learners. Technology is such a wonderful tool for learning within the classroom, and through this blog you will be able to gain an insight into what we are learning, and what your children have been working on as the term progresses. I hope that you are able to gain knowledge on how to support your children in regards to ICT safety through reading the posts from myself and other educators.
